Mar. 5th - Dinner with Michael and Jane

Guess what? Eat out! Taiwanese style sliced pork with green pepper. Yummy yummy yummy times N!! They said so :) What a great night, we also had white wine:)

Day2-Tour of Roanoke and surprised day

         早上用過餐點後，我們與Ernie開了一個有關整個月GSE的會議，隨後前往Roanoke城市導覽。前往當地最有名的景點"Roanoke star"就像好萊塢標誌座落於山上，景色非常得漂亮，但是白天溫度就接近零下5度。然後參觀了當地骨董級的Roanoke Hotel

         

       After breakfast, We have meeting with Ernie about team information. Then We went to tour of Roanoke. We went to the popular place, it is call Roanoke ster that just like Hollywood sign on the mountain. keep the way to the local old Hotel Roanoke.

        下午寄宿家庭來維吉尼亞專科學校接我們，大家就各自前往各自的家庭囉! 我的家庭夫婦非常的仁慈與有耐心，他們給了我一個驚喜，放好行李後就馬上出發前往車程90分鐘的西維吉尼亞的滑雪度假中心，第一次滑雪非常的困難，最後經過教練的指導我真的成功了!by Jerry

 

 

          

At noon, our host family pick us up at Virginia Tech. So, my crew menbers go with their family.

My host family couple are very kind and patient. They give me a big surprise about take me to Winterplace Ski resort. It is need to drive 90 mins. The first time to ski very hard, but I got a good coach. Finally, I did!

Day1-Arrived Roanoke Airport

經過23小時我們終於抵達Roanoke機場

D.G.Woody couple & Chairman Ernie couple 來接機

When we arrived at Roanoke airport through 23 hours.D.G.Woody couple & Chairman Ernie couple come with us and then pick us up to local hotel.

接送我們到附近的旅館，隨後我們送上精美小禮品，我想他們非常的喜歡!

We check in first. We had short time to meet everyone.We give them some gifts from Twaiwan. I think they love it!

短暫的會談之後就前往附近的餐廳用餐，餐廳名叫HLLYWOOD'S，有趣的是如果你告訴店員你從哪來，店家會送你圖釘釘在地圖上，但因為店家只有美國地圖，所以我們自行製作台灣位置。今天很高興順利抵達Roanoke，希望大家有個美夢，晚安

Then, We went to the restaurant, it call HOLLYWOOD's. The restaurant food is great! If you talk to staff where are you come from. They will give you a pin that you can put it on the map. But the map is only USA, so we use taiwan pin on the map. It is glad to arrive Roanoke fluky. Hope all of you have good dream! Good night!
